The wedding of Bojan and Jovanka was truly a day to remember. The couple resides in Europe but chose Montenegro for their special day, the place where their paths first crossed. It was a sunny and warm day, with a light breeze coming from the sea, creating the perfect wedding weather.
We arrived early at Boajn’s villa to capture his preparations and take some group photos with his friends. The guys were getting ready at a villa in Porto Novi, the atmosphere buzzing with excitement and a hint of nervous anticipation. As more guests arrived, bringing gifts, the festivities kicked off, and Rakija started flowing freely.
After capturing moments with the groom, we headed to the bride, Jovanka, who was getting ready amidst the lively company of girls and her mother. We snapped a few group shots; the girls assisted Jovanka with her dress, and her mother attached the veil. Everyone was ready to head to the church for the wedding ceremony.
Before the ceremony, we managed to swing by Adriatica Beach Club for a welcome drink, where Bojan was already greeting guests. The atmosphere was cheerful, with the couple’s DJ setting the tone before the ceremony and continuing the vibe into the evening.
For their wedding ceremony, the couple chose the church in Savina Monastery in Herceg Novi, a stunning and atmospheric location. The church was small but incredibly beautiful inside. Here, the nuptials were exchanged; the couple swapped rings, performed all the necessary rituals, and solidified their union. Exiting the church, they were showered with rose petals and congratulations from the guests.
Following the ceremony, we took a short stroll in Porto Novi to capture some memorable photos against the beautiful backdrop.
The most lively and interesting part of the celebration was yet to come — the banquet and the party. The chosen wedding venue was Adriatica Beach Club, spacious enough to accommodate 100 guests. After dinner, the newlyweds opened the dance floor with their first dance, followed by performances from two bands and a DJ. We concluded our shoot with the cutting of the cake, a fireworks display, and, of course, the bouquet toss.
It was indeed a glorious day. We were capturing photos and videos for 12 hours at this unforgettable wedding.
