Privacy and your own timing: no other guests, no parallel receptions, you build the day the way you like, not around a venue's slots.
Wedding and holiday together: you arrive a couple of days early, settle in, and for all 3 nights only your nearest and dearest are around.

The downsides of a villa wedding and what to keep in mind

Here's the honest catch: a villa is a beautiful venue with a pool, a kitchen and bathrooms, but the event itself is assembled there separately. Tables, chairs, decor, the wedding arch, the bar and tableware are brought in and set up for the specific wedding, and this is usually handled by the organizer.
