The old town is about five minutes away by car or a half-hour stroll along the shore, and Tivat airport is roughly 12 kilometres off. When is the best time for a wedding at Forza Terra?

The best time for a wedding at Forza Terra is May, June or September: it is warm, the sea has warmed up, and there are fewer tourists on the bay than in July and August. In those months the evenings are mild, the light for photos is lovely, and guests are comfortable on the open terrace by the water.

July and August are possible too, but that is the peak: hot by day, busy in Kotor, and the hotel books up early. If you have your heart set on a summer date, reserve well ahead. The shoulder season, like April or October, can be very scenic, but the weather is already more fickle, so build a rain plan into your day just in case.

A word on light: we shoot in the golden hour before sunset, when the bay turns warm and still. The easiest place to shoot a wedding at Forza Terra is right on the property and by the water: the terrace over the bay, the private beach and the steps down to the sea give you shots with water and mountains without leaving the hotel. It shapes the seating too: there is a beautiful backdrop in practically every corner of this small hotel.
